Hello, World! Welcome to My Cloud & Cybersecurity Journey
Why I built this portfolio blog website, reflecting on passing the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, and mapping out my roadmap for learning Jenkins, S3, CloudWatch, and AI.
Welcome to my very first blog post! If you’ve stumbled upon this corner of the internet, you are witnessing the starting line of a massive personal and professional evolution.
I built this portfolio website to serve a dual purpose: to showcase my work, and more importantly, to build consistency in my learning while tracking and documenting every step of my technical growth.
Here is why I'm doing this, where I am right now, and where I plan to go next.
The Pipeline Philosophy of Learning in Public
They say the best way to master a concept is to explain it to someone else. By committing to this blog, I’m holding myself accountable to a rigorous learning curve.
My primary focus is the intersection of Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. These fields are massive, fast-paced, and constantly evolving. This blog will be my public digital garden—a place where I transition from a passive consumer of tutorials to an active builder and storyteller.
My Commitment: I am aiming to remain consistent by publishing at least two blog posts per week. Whether it's a deep-dive tutorial, a quick troubleshooting guide, or a reflection on a tool I just broke (and fixed), you'll see it here.
First Milestone Unlocked: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) 🎉
Before launching this blog, I wanted to lay down a solid foundation. I’m incredibly excited to share that I recently passed the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) exam!
Getting this certification was a fantastic introduction to the global infrastructure, security, and core services of AWS. But while passing the exam feels great, certifications are just theoretical validation. Now, it’s time to get my hands dirty and continue learning.
What’s Next on My Radar? 🎯
To keep the momentum going, I’ve mapped out my immediate learning roadmap. Over the next few weeks, you can expect posts, projects, and labs focusing on these core areas:
- AWS S3 (Simple Storage Service): Going beyond the basics to master hosting, bucket policies, lifecycle configurations, and security best practices.
- AWS CloudWatch: Learning how to monitor resources, set up actionable alarms, and collect logs to keep cloud infrastructure healthy.
- Jenkins: Diving into the world of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployments.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Exploring how AI tools can assist in cloud architecture, threat detection, and streamlining my development workflows.
Join Me on the Journey
Whether you are a seasoned cloud engineer, a fellow cybersecurity student, or someone just starting out in tech, I’d love to connect. Learning in public can be intimidating, but it's also incredibly rewarding.
Stay tuned for my next post, where I'll be breaking down a hands-on project using AWS S3!
Thanks for reading, and let's build something cool.
